- BusinessToday · businesstoday.in

Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL), a big company that mines coal, is going to sell some of its shares to the public for the first time.

This is called an IPO, and it's worth Rs 1,300 crore.

The company's parent, Coal India, will sell its shares, but BCCL won't get any money from this sale.

The IPO will start on 9 January 2026, and before that, they will announce the price of the shares on 5 January.

Some shares are reserved for employees and existing shareholders.

BCCL is the largest producer of a special kind of coal called coking coal in India.

They have a lot of coal reserves and use big machines to mine the coal.

However, their profits and revenue have been decreasing recently, which might be something investors will think about.

The shares will be allotted on 14 January 2026, and the stock is likely to list on the BSE and NSE on 16 January 2026.
