Jaishankar Meets Nigerian, Cuban and Belarusian Counterparts at BRICS
India’s External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar met ministers from Nigeria, Cuba and Belarus.
These meetings happened during the BRICS Summit in New Delhi.
He and Nigeria’s minister discussed economic cooperation and ties between their people.
He and Cuba’s minister talked about cooperation among developing countries.
Jaishankar and Belarus’s minister reviewed trade, investment, connectivity and tourism.
They also discussed regional developments.

Jaishankar and Odumegwu-Ojukwu discussed economic cooperation and people-to-people ties.
Jaishankar held a separate meeting with Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla on South-South cooperation.
He also met Belarusian Foreign Minister Maxim Ryzhenkov to review bilateral ties and regional developments.
The meetings took place alongside the two-day 18th BRICS Summit, hosted by India as its 2026 chair.
