A Daughter’s Travel Company Helps Seniors Pursue Delayed Dreams
A Father’s Unfinished Dream Is Now Giving Hundreds of Seniors the Courage to Travel · thebetterindia.com

Saakshi Maheshwari’s father loved helping people and dreamed of travelling more after retirement.

He died in 2023 before he could complete many of those plans.

Saakshi decided to help other older people travel instead.

She and her husband, Rajat, created trips that are slower and easier for seniors.

They check hotels, transport, stairs, healthcare facilities and food before each journey.

Small groups travel with the couple, who help with safety and comfort.

Many travelers make new friends and gain confidence.

About 350 seniors have travelled with the company so far.

Saakshi hopes older people and their families will see travel as part of a happy life, not something to postpone.
