Ghrushneshwar Temple Route To Be No-Vehicle Zone On Select Days
Every year in a special month called Shravan, many people visit a holy temple called Shri Ghrushneshwar Temple in Ellora.
Because so many visitors come, there are very big crowds on the roads.
A district collector named Vinay Gowda made a new rule to help.
The rule stops cars and other vehicles from driving on the road between two places called Bhagwan Mahaveer Chowk and Malojiraje Bhosale Chowk.
This no-vehicle rule will happen on certain nights from 8 pm to 8 am in August and September.
People who drive can still park their cars in special open spaces near the road.
Emergency vehicles like ambulances, police cars, and fire engines are still allowed to use the road.
In a different and sad happening, a 13-year-old boy named Atiq died when a speeding car hit the auto-rickshaw he was riding in on Paithan Road.
The police took the car driver into custody and registered a case against him.

Parking spaces have been designated beyond the two chowks, and government, police, fire brigade, ambulance and other essential service vehicles are exempt under Section 115 of the Motor Vehicles Act.
