IIT Hyderabad Programme Builds Young Researchers’ Scientific Leadership Skills

BODH is a programme that helps young researchers learn skills beyond their scientific subjects.

It held a two-day event at IIT Hyderabad to celebrate its first year.

Fifty PhD students from seven institutions joined the SPARK workshop.

They practised research skills, communication and leadership.

Speakers said researchers need to explain their work clearly and cooperate with others.

They also discussed how research can help society.

BODH launched its logo and website during the event.

It also announced a partnership with the American Chemical Society.

Organisers said the initiative plans to reach more institutions and support more researchers.
