University of Bristol Opens First Overseas Campus in Mumbai
The University of Bristol has opened its first campus outside England in Mumbai.
The new campus is called the Mumbai Enterprise Campus.
It is near the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay.
The campus will teach students through practical projects and industry connections.
Its subjects include data science, artificial intelligence and quantitative finance.
Students may be able to study for a period at Bristol’s campus in the United Kingdom.
A new scholarship will cover all tuition fees for some students.
Scholarship recipients will also receive internships at the Maharashtra Chief Minister’s Office.
The university says the campus will connect education with real-world problems.
