Andhra Pradesh Raises Government Job Age Limit To 44
The Andhra Pradesh government changed the age rules for some government jobs.
People can now apply for many non-uniformed government posts until they are 44 years old.
These recruitments may be conducted by the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission or other agencies.
One earlier age limit was raised from 34 to 44 years.
Another age limit for non-uniformed services was raised from 42 to 44 years.
The new rule is meant for upcoming recruitments.
It does not cover jobs where employees wear uniforms.
Police, Excise, Fire, Prisons, Forest and Transport posts are excluded.
This means the older age limit remains relevant for those uniformed jobs.
