Cyber Fraudsters Steal ₹12.08 Lakh From Bhopal Senior Citizen
An 86-year-old man in Bhopal saw a link offering senior citizen cards and benefits.
He clicked it and later spoke with people who asked for his personal and banking information.
A ₹6 lakh fixed deposit was opened for him at home.
The deposit was closed on the same day, and the money was taken.
His phone was hacked, so he could not receive bank warnings.
His family learned about the missing money two days later.
Police have filed a case against unidentified suspects.
Police are also investigating three other reported banking frauds in the area.

The suspects used a fake senior citizen card link to obtain his Aadhaar, PAN and ATM details.
A ₹6 lakh fixed deposit opened at his home was liquidated the same day and withdrawn.
The victim’s phone was hacked, stopping him from receiving bank alerts.
Police are also investigating three other Chunabhatti and Piplani account-fraud cases.
