Bad people used the internet to trick many people in a city called Bhopal.

In just one day, nine people told the police that they had been cheated out of their money.

The trickers made up fake jobs and services to steal money.

Three young people from an area called Piplani lost almost ₹1.57 lakh together.

One young person clicked a link about an internship and ended up losing ₹1.68 lakh.

They were told to do small tasks like rating hotels and pay a little money first, but the trickers took much more.

When the person asked for a refund, the trickers blocked them.

Another older man was threatened by someone pretending to work for the power company, who said his electricity would be cut off.

The police registered the cases and are looking into what happened.
