The Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Pushkar Singh Dhami, spoke at a special event called the Dhwaj Vandan Ceremony.

This event was held to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Mata Bhagwati Devi Sharma, who started the All India Gayatri Parivar.

Dhami said that Uttarakhand is a very important place for faith and culture in India.

He mentioned that the state is working hard to keep its cultural heritage safe and beautiful.

This includes making pilgrimage sites like Kedarnath and Badrinath even more special and developing areas around the Yamuna River.

The event also had Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, who talked about the importance of moral values and service in society.

The ceremony is part of a bigger effort to make the Ardh Kumbh Mela in 2027 a grand and safe event.
