Modi-Era Governance Expands Financial Inclusion and Basic Services
Lanka Dinakar said Narendra Modi’s government has focused on building systems that help people receive services.

As of September 2, 2026, 59.21 crore Jan Dhan accounts held deposits exceeding Rs 3.17 lakh crore.
By June 26, 59.14 crore MUDRA loans worth more than Rs 41.71 lakh crore had been sanctioned.
Rural tap-water coverage rose from 3.23 crore households in 2019 to about 15.82 crore by March 2026, according to Dinakar.
Dinakar also cited more housing, LPG connections, highways, railway electrification and operational airports.
