Chelsea sign Valentin Barco from Strasbourg until 2033
Chelsea Football Club in London has signed a young Argentine player named Valentin Barco.
He used to play for a French club called RC Strasbourg and also for Brighton in England.
Barco has scored 12 goals last season and helped his team reach the semi‑finals of a European competition.
He has played for Argentina’s national team five times and scored twice.
Chelsea will welcome him in the pre‑season and he will play under manager Xabi Alonso.

Barco has earned five caps for Argentina, scoring twice, and was named in the 2026 FIFA World Cup squad.
He will join manager Xabi Alonso and teammates during pre‑season.
