Chelsea goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen joins RC Strasbourg on season-long loan

Filip Jorgensen is a goalkeeper, the player on a soccer team who protects the goal and tries to stop the other team from scoring.

He plays for Denmark's national team, but his club team is Chelsea in England.

Chelsea is a very famous club, but Jorgensen did not get to play in many games there.

So Chelsea decided to let him play for one year for a French club called RC Strasbourg.

This is called a loan, which is like borrowing a player for a little while.

In France, he will have a chance to play more games and prove how good he is.

After the year is over, Strasbourg cannot buy him, so he will go back to Chelsea.

Jorgensen has already won big trophies, including the UEFA Conference League with Chelsea in May 2025.

Chelsea said they will support him in France and wished him good luck.
