Bengaluru Horror: 20-Ft-Deep Soil Wall Collapses At Underpass Site, 2 Workers Killed · timesnownews.com

Workers in a city called Bengaluru were building a tunnel that goes under a road, called an underpass.

To build it, they had dug a very deep hole in the ground, about 20 feet deep.

That is as tall as a small building.

Suddenly, the wall of dirt holding up the sides of the hole fell down.

Two workers were trapped and, sadly, did not survive.

Rescue teams and police hurried to the place to help.

They worked hard to clear the fallen dirt and to check what had happened.

Right now, no one knows exactly why the dirt wall gave way, so officials are investigating.

Building tunnels and digging big holes can be dangerous, which is why safety rules are so important.
