Suspected Bengaluru Kidnapping Bid Triggers Nine-Kilometre Vehicle Chase
Police say a group of men allegedly tried to kidnap a young woman in Bengaluru.
People nearby noticed what was happening and chased the suspects’ car.
The car was driven quickly and crashed into more than 135 vehicles.
Six people were seriously hurt, and more than 30 others had minor injuries.
Residents stopped the car after it traveled about nine kilometres.
Three people were taken from the car and handed to the police.
