Woodside Builds Bengaluru Hub Beyond Conventional GCC Model
Woodside Energy is building a large work centre in Bengaluru, India.
The centre is not only handling routine office tasks.
It also works on technology, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, finance and business operations.
About 150 to 160 people already work there.
Woodside chose Bengaluru because it found many of the technology skills it needs there.
The company wants the centre to help its offices around the world.

Woodside is also helping employees in India and Australia understand each other’s ways of working.
Woodside Energy’s Bengaluru operation has grown to about 150–160 employees since opening in February.
The Woodside Global Solutions hub combines technology, digital, finance, procurement and operations capabilities.
The company selected Bengaluru after assessing countries and Indian cities for technology talent and time-zone advantages.
Artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and data science initiatives are being tied to business outcomes, safety and governance.
Woodside aims to make Bengaluru a broader global corporate hub while integrating teams across India and Australia.
