On Monday, the first round of matches began.
Indian player Arihant K.S. beat Leandro Mannhart from Switzerland.
Another Indian player, Pooja Arthi Raghu, won after a close five-game match against Kaashvi Mangal.
More Indian players, including Ananya Narayanan and Vasundhara Nangare, also won their matches.
The tournament gives $9,000 in prize money for both men and women.
The tour has already held events in Indore, Mumbai, and Chennai.
Next, the players will keep playing until a champion is decided in each section.
Arihant K.S. beat Switzerland's Leandro Mannhart 11-6, 9-11, 13-11, 11-4 in the men's singles opening round.
Pooja Arthi Raghu rallied to defeat Kaashvi Mangal 13-15, 11-6, 11-6, 7-11, 11-9 in the women's first round.
Other Indian winners included Ananya Narayanan, Vasundhara Nangare, Deepak Mandal, and Rahul Baitha.
The men's and women's sections each carry a prize fund of $9,000.
The tour has previously staged events in Indore, Mumbai, and Chennai before the current Kolkata leg.
