Scorpio Driver Allegedly Drags Petrol Pump Worker Five Kilometres
A petrol pump worker in Hapur asked a driver to pay for diesel.
The fuel cost Rs 2,000.
The driver allegedly became angry when asked to pay.
He reportedly trapped the worker’s hand in the car window.
The driver then drove for almost five kilometres.
The worker was allegedly pushed onto the road near Nizampur Tiraha.
CCTV cameras at the petrol pump recorded part of the incident.
Police arrested a man identified as Fariyad and are investigating.
A petrol pump employee was allegedly dragged nearly five kilometres in Hapur after his hand became trapped in a Scorpio’s window.
The incident reportedly occurred around 10 p.m. on September 2 at Agarwal Fueling Station in Pilkhuwa.
The driver allegedly drove toward Hapur after the employee requested payment for diesel worth Rs 2,000.
The employee was reportedly pushed onto the road near Nizampur Tiraha after the drive.
Police arrested the accused, identified as Fariyad, and said further investigation is underway.
