Indian Coast Guard Commanders Review Maritime Security and Capabilities
The Indian Coast Guard is holding an important meeting in New Delhi.
It is taking place from 17 to 19 September 2026.
Senior leaders are discussing how to protect India’s seas.
They are reviewing operations, equipment, training, staff development, and administration.
Minister Sanjay Seth spoke with the Coast Guard leaders about national and maritime security.
The commanders will also meet senior defence and naval officials.
These meetings are meant to improve cooperation and strengthen the Coast Guard.
They will also review projects intended to build more capabilities in India.
The 43rd Indian Coast Guard Commanders’ Conference is being held in New Delhi from 17 to 19 September 2026.
Senior Coast Guard commanders are discussing strategic, operational, administrative, and maritime-security matters.
Raksha Rajya Mantri Sanjay Seth addressed the conference and met Director General Paramesh Sivamani and other commanders.
Commanders are scheduled to interact with the Chief of Defence Staff and Chief of the Naval Staff to promote inter-service cooperation.
The conference is reviewing preparedness, logistics, human-resource development, training, administration, and indigenisation projects under Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat.
