J&K Intensifies Anti-Narcotics Drive With 4,000 Arrests Since April

Authorities reported 170 convictions, more than 2,500 disposed cases and 144 bookings under the PIT-NDPS Act.
Officials seized or attached 288 properties worth Rs 138 crore and recovered Rs 80 lakh in cash.
More than one crore people participated in awareness activities through 2,16,123 rallies, school events, village campaigns and sports programmes.
The campaign also provided addiction treatment to 44,602 patients and promoted youth engagement through sports and other activities.
