Bengaluru Metro Yellow Line Receives More Coaches; Opening Soon
Imagine new trains are coming to Bengaluru to help people get around!
Two coaches have already arrived from a company in West Bengal.
These are part of a new train that will run on the Yellow Line.
More coaches are on their way, and they should all be ready by March 2026.
The Yellow Line is almost ready to open, after a safety check.
When it opens, there will be trains every 20 minutes, but as more trains come, people won't have to wait as long.
Two coaches for Bengaluru's Yellow Line were dispatched from West Bengal by Titagarh Rail Systems Limited.
The coaches are part of the fourth trainset for the RV Road–Bommasandra route.
Six more coaches will form a complete driverless train, with more expected to arrive by March 2026.
The Yellow Line is expected to open in August, awaiting approval after inspection.
Initially, three trains will run every 20 minutes; more trains will reduce wait times.
