Fresh Case Probes Jagadish Reddy Death in Nookaraju Family Suicide
A family from Kakinada district jumped into the Godavari River from a bridge.
The family included engineer Nookaraju, his wife Meena, his daughter Sowjanya and his grandson Karthikeya.
Karthikeya knew how to swim and was rescued by fishermen.
Nookaraju’s body was later found, but Meena and Sowjanya are still missing.
The family had reportedly left notes accusing Shaik Sadiq Khan of threatening and harassing them.
A new police case was filed after Jagadish Reddy’s father alleged that Jagadish was killed with a poisonous injection.
He also said another person might have helped.
Police are checking these claims and looking for Khan.

Kakinada police registered a fresh case after Bhaskar Reddy alleged that his son Jagadish Reddy was murdered on July 2.
Bhaskar Reddy alleged that Jagadish Reddy was given a poisonous injection and suspected another person may also have been involved.
Panchayat Raj Assistant Engineer Tillapudi Nookaraju, his wife Meena, daughter Sowjanya and grandson Karthikeya Reddy jumped into the Godavari from Rajamahendravaram’s road-cum-rail bridge on Monday.
Karthikeya Reddy was rescued by fishermen, while Nookaraju’s body was recovered and searches continued for Meena and Sowjanya.
Police are investigating allegations that Shaik Sadiq Khan harassed and threatened the family, while about 20 personnel, divers, expert swimmers and SDRF teams search the river.
