Khachrod Announces New Civic Facilities and Railway Road Closure
Khachrod is getting two new public facilities: a community hall and a swimming pool.
Together, the projects are worth about ₹2.43 crore.
The municipal council president said the pool will give children and young people a place for sports.
Separately, railway workers will renew tracks at Umarni Gate.
The road crossing there will be closed to traffic from October 5 to 9.
On October 5, the closure is from 4 pm to 8 pm; from October 6 through 9, it will remain closed continuously.
Drivers can use the Khachrod Railway Overbridge instead.
People travelling between Nagda and Ratlam can also go via Dhamnoda.

The community building on Nagda Road is being built for ₹94.53 lakh under a state urban infrastructure scheme.
The swimming pool, costing ₹1.48 crore, is described by the municipal council president as the city’s first.

Motorists can use the Khachrod Railway Overbridge; vehicles travelling between Nagda and Ratlam can divert via Dhamnoda.
