Heavy rains and thunderstorms killed 56 people and injured 46 across Uttar Pradesh over roughly 60 hours.
The state recorded 66.5 millimetres of rain from September 25 to the morning of September 27, versus a normal 7.6 millimetres.
Rain-related incidents also killed 107 animals and damaged 1,021 houses.
Sitapur recorded the most deaths, while Hardoi reported the highest numbers of injuries, animal deaths and damaged houses in several categories.
Authorities ordered rescue operations, crop-damage assessments, compensation, alternative accommodation and assistance for affected families.
