Gillette India: August 24 record date for Rs 60 dividend
Gillette India is a company that makes grooming products.
When a company earns money, it sometimes shares some of it with people who own its shares.
That sharing is called a dividend.
Gillette India has decided to pay a final dividend of Rs 60 for each share.
It will check its records on August 24 to see who should get the money.
People who own the shares by that date can receive the payout.
Shareholders need to say yes at a meeting on August 31 first.
If they approve it, the money will be paid by September 30.
The company also earned more money in its latest quarter compared with a year ago.
The price of its shares has gone down a little over the past few months.
Gillette India has set August 24 as the record date to determine shareholder eligibility for its final dividend of Rs 60 per share, subject to approval at the AGM on August 31.
The dividend payment date has been revised from September 18 to September 30.
If approved, Gillette India's total dividend payout for FY26 would stand at Rs 240 per share, including a Rs 120 special dividend in February and a Rs 60 interim dividend in January.
The company posted Q1 FY27 net profit of Rs 159 crore, up 9.6% year-on-year, with revenue from operations at Rs 783 crore, up nearly 11%.
Gillette India's share price has declined by over 1% in the past week, nearly 3% in the past month, and 11% over the past six months.
