UP Teacher Recruitment Announces 15,012 Posts, December Exams
The UP teacher recruitment process will fill 15,012 teaching jobs.
Most of the jobs are for Assistant Teachers.
There are also 2,607 jobs for Lecturers, also called PGTs.
Assistant Teacher applications start on September 16, 2026.
Lecturer and PGT applications start on September 18.
Applicants must pay their fees and make any corrections by the announced deadlines.
Assistant Teacher tests will be held on December 3 and 4.
Lecturer and PGT tests will be held on December 15 and 16.
Everyone must complete One-Time Registration before applying.
The recruitment drive includes 15,012 vacancies: 12,405 Assistant Teacher posts and 2,607 Lecturer/PGT posts.
Assistant Teacher vacancies include 897 Secondary Education Department posts and 11,508 Basic Education Department posts.
Applications for Assistant Teacher posts open on September 16, 2026, while Lecturer/PGT applications open on September 18.
Assistant Teacher examinations will take place on December 3 and 4, 2026, followed by Lecturer/PGT exams on December 15 and 16.
