Brokerages Pick 10 'Buy' Stocks with 10-49% Upside
Stock market experts work at companies called brokerages.
They study big companies and guess if their shares will go up or down.
This week, experts from nine famous brokerage firms looked at Indian companies.
They said ten companies look like good buys right now.
If investors buy these shares, the experts think they could gain between 10% and 49%.
For example, Nuvama expects Britannia, a biscuit and snack maker, to rise by about 49%.
Jefferies thinks Kalyan Jewellers, a big jewellery chain, could rise by 39%.
Goldman Sachs says Hindustan Aeronautics, a plane-maker, is a good buy after two rough years.
The overall stock market had a quiet week, barely moving, because crude oil got more expensive.
Remember, these are only guesses, and investing always has some risk.
Crude oil prices surged near $80 a barrel, with the Nifty 50 closing the week 0.08% higher and the BSE Sensex ending 0.21% lower.
Nomura raised its Samvardhana Motherson price target to Rs 171 from Rs 155, implying over 10% upside, citing non-auto segment ramp-up and high free cash flow.
Jefferies initiated coverage on Kalyan Jewellers with a 'Buy' rating and a Rs 598 target, implying about 39% upside as India's $115 billion-plus jewellery market shifts toward organised retail.
Nuvama set a Rs 7,240 target on Britannia, the highest projected upside of 49%, after revenue of about Rs 5,000 crore and EBITDA of about Rs 840 crore.
Goldman Sachs upgraded Hindustan Aeronautics to 'Buy' with a Rs 5,870 target as execution risks recede, advancing deliveries of the HTT-40, Prachand and Su-30 platforms.
