Indri Unveils Limited Ruby Port Cask Diwali Whisky for 2026
Indri is making a special whisky for Diwali 2026.
It is matured in casks that previously held Ruby Port, a fruity fortified wine.
The whisky is made in India using six-row barley and traditional copper stills.
Only 600 numbered bottles are planned for sale in India.
They will be bottled at 50% alcohol and are expected to go on sale from mid-October 2026.
The company says the whisky has already won awards at several international competitions.
Its bottle design takes inspiration from Indian miniature art and features a horse and foal.
A stronger version is also planned for some airport duty-free shops and Dubai Duty Free.
Indri’s 2026 Diwali Collector’s Edition is a Ruby Port cask single malt created by master blender Surrinder Kumar.
The India release is limited to 600 individually numbered 700 ml bottles, bottled at 50% ABV.
The whisky is made from six-row barley, distilled in copper pot stills and matured in Portuguese Ruby Port casks in northern India.
Piccadily Distilleries reports awards including Double Gold and 96 points at the 2026 USA Spirits Ratings, plus several other 2026 competition gold medals.
India sales are planned from mid-October 2026, with distribution in Gurugram, Chandigarh and Bengaluru; a 58.5% ABV variant is planned for select duty-free outlets.
