Saini rules out SAD alliance, BJP's tie-up with Punjab people

A very important leader from the state of Haryana, named Nayab Singh Saini, talked to reporters on Monday.

People were guessing that his political party, the BJP, might team up with another party called SAD for upcoming elections.

This guess started when the SAD's leader, Sukhbir Singh Badal, went to meet India's Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, in New Delhi on Friday.

When reporters asked about this, Saini said 'No, there is no such thing' in the Punjabi language.

He said the BJP's team-up is with the people of Punjab, not with any one party.

Saini explained that the Prime Minister is like the voice of 140 crore people.

He said the PM's doors are open to everyone, and anyone who wants to meet him can.

He said political parties often meet the PM to discuss different issues, so nothing about the meeting was special.

So, for now, Saini says there will be no alliance between the BJP and the SAD.
