Labourer's Son Cracks NEET-UG 2026
Suraj Saini is a 19-year-old boy from a small town in Rajasthan.
He comes from a very poor family where his mother works as an agricultural laborer and his father lives separately.
Suraj had to help his family by painting houses during his school vacations.
Despite these hardships, he studied very hard and scored well in his school exams.
He wanted to become a doctor, inspired by his aunt who is a nurse.
Suraj took the NEET exam three times and finally passed it this year.
He got a very good rank and will now study in a government medical college.
A special program called Shiksha Sambal helped him by giving free coaching and a place to stay.
Suraj is very happy and wants to help his sister continue her education.
Suraj Saini, a 19-year-old from Bundi district in Rajasthan, scored 99.16 percentile with 583 marks in NEET-UG 2026.
He secured an All India Rank of 16569 and an OBC category rank of 7800.
Suraj comes from a financially distressed background, living with his mother and sister, and worked as a whitewasher to support his family.
He was inspired by his maternal aunt, an ANM nurse, to pursue a career in medicine.
Suraj's success was aided by the Shiksha Sambal programme of Allen Career Institute, which provided free coaching and lodging.
