IndiGo Reworks Navi Mumbai Flights Ahead of Terminal Redevelopment
IndiGo is changing some of its flights at Navi Mumbai International Airport.
Some routes may stop temporarily, while others may get fewer or more flights.
Flights to Visakhapatnam, Ghaziabad-Hindon and Jabalpur may move back to Mumbai’s main airport.
IndiGo says the changes are linked to passenger demand, available airport slots and how its planes are used.
The airline will still keep three smaller ATR planes at Navi Mumbai.
These planes will fly to places such as Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Kolhapur, Bhavnagar and Diu.
The changes are happening while the airport operator wants airlines to add more flights at Navi Mumbai.
IndiGo is also reducing its Mumbai-Amsterdam service because leased Boeing 787 aircraft are being returned.
IndiGo plans to cut or shift capacity from Navi Mumbai International Airport from October 25 under its Winter 2026 schedule.
Services to Thiruvananthapuram, Siliguri-Bagdogra and Kannur may be temporarily suspended, while Kochi and Madurai are also under review.
Flights to Visakhapatnam, Ghaziabad-Hindon and Jabalpur are likely to move to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport.
IndiGo plans to retain three ATR aircraft at Navi Mumbai and add capacity on routes including Nagpur, Jodhpur and Lucknow.
The changes come as Adani Airports encourages airlines to expand at Navi Mumbai before redevelopment of Mumbai airport’s Terminal 1.
