BRS leader accuses Congress of delaying welfare scheme response

The BRS held a protest in Mahabubnagar about welfare schemes for poor families.

Former minister Singireddy Niranjan Reddy spoke at the event.

He said the Congress government should not stop Kalyana Lakshmi and Shaadi Mubarak.

These schemes give money to eligible women and their families.

He accused the government of delaying a court response.

He said this could help the government avoid a promise to provide one tola of gold.

He also asked the government to support irrigation projects for Telangana farmers.

The BRS said people should be allowed to protest peacefully.
