Odisha and Madhya Pradesh sign MoU to boost renewable energy

Two states in India, Odisha and Madhya Pradesh, decided to work together on clean energy.

Clean energy is power that doesn't harm the planet, like energy from the sun and wind.

The two states signed a document called an MoU, which is a promise to cooperate.

They plan to work on solar power, wind power, and hybrid power.

They will also explore green hydrogen, a clean fuel made with renewable energy.

Another goal is energy storage, which is like big batteries that save electricity for later.

The signing happened at a big energy conference organized by a business group called CII.

A leader from Odisha, Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, said the partnership will strengthen cooperation between the states.

The deal also covers sharing technology, knowledge, and ideas.

All of this is meant to make India's energy cleaner and more reliable.
