Jaibir Singh Kang, Sohraab Talwar Clinch IGU Junior Titles
The Northern India Junior Boys Golf Championship is a big golf event for young boys.
It happened at the Chandigarh Golf Club in the city of Chandigarh.
Golf players try to finish with the lowest score after four days of play.
One of the champions was Jaibir Singh Kang, who won the top category for older boys.
His total score was 282, which is six shots better than par.
He beat the second-place player by four whole shots.
The day before, another boy from the same golf academy won the category for younger boys.
His name is Sohraab Singh Talwar, and he won his first-ever title.
Both boys train at the Roundglass Golf Academy, which is very proud of their wins.
Jaibir Singh Kang of the Roundglass Golf Academy won the Boys Category A & B title at the IGU Northern India Junior Boys Golf Championship with a four-stroke victory.
Kang finished with a 6-under-par aggregate of 282 on rounds of 71-66-74-71, including a tournament-best 66 on day two.
Delhi's Chaitanya Pandey was runner-up with 286, while Maharashtra's Shashank Sachin Gadre took third with 289.
A day earlier, RGGA's Sohraab Singh Talwar captured his maiden career title in the Category C crown with a 216 total (level par) and a three-shot win.
The back-to-back wins extended the academy's successful run; RGGA is based at the Chandigarh Golf Club and mentored by India's No. 1 professional golfer Shubhankar Sharma.
