Govt hosts PSB Confluence to exchange banking best practices
The government of India is planning a big meeting called the PSB Confluence.
It will happen on August 17th and 18th in New Delhi.
Leaders from public sector banks and other government financial institutions will come together.
About 125 important leaders, like chairmen and managing directors, will attend.
The Finance Minister, Nirmala Sitharaman, will also be there.
The main goal is to share good ideas and learn from each other.
They want to find new ways to help people, such as making loans easier to get.
They will talk about helping young people with banking, building better farms and roads, and supporting new companies.
By the end, they hope to make clear plans that help everyone in the country.
The government will hold the two-day 'PSB Confluence' ideation conclave in New Delhi on August 17-18.

Nearly 125 participants, including chairmen, managing directors and executive directors of PSBs and PFIs, are expected to attend.
Participating institutions include NABARD, EXIM Bank, SIDBI, NHB, IIFCL, IFCI, and NaBFID.
Thematic tracks cover deposit mobilisation, banking for youth, the investment cycle, global capability centres, agriculture value chain infrastructure, credit cards, and priority sector lending.
