Kolkata's Jadavpur Railway Station Upgrade: Mini Mart, Passenger Facilities

A train station called Jadavpur Railway Station, in the city of Kolkata, is going to get a big makeover.

It is a place where many people catch trains every day.

The people in charge want to make the station nicer and easier to use.

They plan to build a small shop called a mini mart right at the station.

That way, travelers can buy snacks and supplies while they wait for their trains.

They will also add more facilities to keep passengers comfortable.

Small vendors will get proper, organized spaces to sell their goods.

This will help local business owners earn a living.

Shibram Majhi, a spokesperson for Eastern Railway, announced these plans.

He says the station will become a modern hub with a better experience for everyone.
