Nellore Police Hold Helmet Awareness Campaign for Road Safety
Police in Nellore held a campaign to help people stay safe on the roads.
They visited several places around the city on Wednesday.
Officers explained why helmets are important for people riding two-wheelers.
Helmets can help protect the head during crashes.
Police said both riders and passengers should wear IS-standard helmets.
They also warned people not to speed or use mobile phones while driving.
Triple riding and driving after drinking alcohol were also discouraged.
Police asked everyone to follow traffic rules so journeys can be safer.

The campaign was held under SP Dr Ajitha Vejendla’s direction and led by ASP Deeksha.

The public was asked to follow traffic rules and support the goal of “Safe Journey – Safe Destination.”
