Kutch Widow Seeks Custody of Six Children From Daughter
Gujarat woman seeks custody of 6 minor kids from her eldest daughter; moves HC · theprint.in

A mother in Gujarat is asking the High Court to let her take care of her six younger children.

The children are between three and 14 years old.

They are currently staying with their oldest sister, who is 22 and married.

The mother says she was not allowed to take the children when she left her daughter’s home.

She also says her daughter used her bank accounts and took about Rs 15 lakh.

A lower court did not give her custody because it found that the children were staying with their sister willingly.

The High Court has now asked the daughter and officials to respond.

The court will consider the case after receiving those replies.
