Andhra Pradesh to conduct DSC recruitment exams every year
The government of Andhra Pradesh wants to hire more teachers for schools.
A minister named Nara Lokesh said they will hold a big test called the DSC every year.
This test helps pick people to become teachers.
This year, the government already hired 3,000 teachers using this test.
In total, they have filled about 10,060 jobs through their Mega Job Calendar.
Some people said the government stopped hiring, but the minister said that is not true.
He said hiring is going exactly as planned.
All the new teachers will start working before a festival called Ugadi.
After that, they will get training for the next school year.
This yearly test will help young people find jobs and make sure schools have enough teachers.
HRD & IT Minister Nara Lokesh announced in the Assembly that the District Selection Committee (DSC) recruitment examination will be held every year.
The government has filled 3,000 teacher posts through the DSC this year as part of the Mega Job Calendar.
Around 10,060 posts have been filled so far through the Mega Job Calendar, covering Group-I, Group-II and teacher posts.
Lokesh denied allegations that recruitment had been halted, saying there was no disruption and recruitment was progressing as planned.
