Seven Arrested After Counterfeit Currency Unit Raided In Ramnagar
Police found a place where people were allegedly making fake Indian currency notes.
The place was an unfinished house in Ramnagar, Bengaluru South district.
Police raided it on Monday.
Seven people were arrested.

The group allegedly used chemicals, colors, sunlight and glass panels during production.
They cut the unfinished notes to the size of real currency.
Police found 10 bundles estimated to be worth Rs 5 lakh in counterfeit notes and are investigating the larger network.
Ijoor police raided an alleged counterfeit Indian currency unit in an under-construction house in Shantilal Layout, Ramnagar.
Seven people—Santosh, Sampath, Govindaraju, Renukaraj, Rajesh, Shivaraj and Satish—were arrested.
Police said the unit produced unfinished counterfeit notes, with further processing reportedly done elsewhere.
Investigators seized 10 bundles of unfinished counterfeit currency estimated at Rs 5 lakh.
Police are investigating the wider network and identifying others who may have been involved.
