Qwen Releases 2.4 Trillion-Parameter Model for Complex Workloads
Qwen released a new artificial intelligence model called Qwen3.8-Max on August 2.
Qwen said it was the strongest model in its family at that time.
The company later upgraded it to a version called Qwen3.8-Max-0902.
This version has 2.4 trillion parameters, which are pieces used to help an AI process information.
It can work with a context window of up to 1 million tokens.
That means it can handle very large amounts of text or information at once.
Qwen trained it further to improve coding and “Cowork” tasks.
The model is meant for difficult business work, scientific research and tasks that take a long time to complete.
