India and France Launch The Nantes Design Village Degree Partnership
The Design Village in India and L’École de Design Nantes Atlantique in France have created a new design programme.
It is called The Nantes Design Village, or TNDV.
Students can earn an Indian degree and a French diploma.
They can study subjects such as products, communication, interiors, fashion, and textiles.
Bachelor’s students spend part of their four-year course in Nantes.
Master’s students spend one year of their two-year course in France.
Classes are taught in English, and students learn conversational French in India.
The programme is designed to combine Indian design knowledge with France’s industry-focused design education.
The Design Village and L’École de Design Nantes Atlantique announced TNDV, a formal dual degree partnership.
Graduates will receive an Indian degree and a French diploma from L’École de Design Nantes Atlantique.
The programme covers product and industrial, communication and interaction, interior and space, and fashion and textile design.
