Parsva Ekadashi is a special Hindu fasting day for Lord Vishnu.

It happens on the 11th lunar day during the bright half of the month of Bhadrapada.

The name Parsva means “side.”

People believe Lord Vishnu turns from one side to the other while resting on Ananta Shesha.
