Diwali 2026 Train Bookings Open as Special Services Expand
People are beginning to book trains for Diwali 2026.
Many travelers want to travel to Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Punjab.
A special train service will connect Varanasi and Delhi.
The train from Varanasi leaves at night and arrives in Delhi the next afternoon.
The return train leaves Delhi in the evening and reaches Varanasi the next morning.
The service will run for 50 trips.
It will operate on selected days of the week.
Passengers can choose from air-conditioned, sleeper and general coaches.
Train bookings have opened for Diwali 2026 travel, with demand building for Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Punjab.
The Varanasi–Delhi Festival Special Express will operate for 50 trips.
Train 04209 departs Varanasi at 10:15 p.m. and reaches Delhi at 1:45 p.m. the next day.
Train 04210 leaves Delhi at 6:50 p.m. and arrives in Varanasi at 9:50 a.m.
The service includes AC 2 Tier, AC 3 Tier, Sleeper and General coaches, with trips scheduled from October 2 to November 28.
