78-Year-Old Woman Rescued After 12 Hours in Floodwaters
Kasi Dalei is a 78-year-old woman from Odisha.
She went near the Brahmani River late on Saturday night.
Strong floodwater swept her into the river.
She stayed in the water for about 12 hours.
Two fishermen saw her floating downstream the next morning.
They used their boat to bring her out of the river.
The rescue was difficult because crocodiles were also reported in the area.

Dalei was taken to Pattamundai sub-divisional hospital in critical condition after roughly 12 hours in the water.
Doctors said her condition later became stable, while her family thanked the fishermen for saving her life.
