Volunteers Clean Navi Mumbai Mangroves on International Mangrove Day
On Saturday, more than 200 volunteers from different cities came together to clean the mangroves at Karave Jetty in Navi Mumbai.
They removed about 1.5 tonnes of trash, including plastic, medical waste, and other debris.
The cleanup was organized to celebrate International Mangrove Day and to highlight the importance of mangroves in protecting coastlines and fighting climate change.
