NCP (SP) Leader Noticed for Remarks Against Council Chairman
A leader named Suryakant More from the NCP (SP) party made some strong comments about the Chairperson of the Maharashtra Legislative Council, Ram Shinde.
More said things like Shinde has less power than a local leader and only works a few days a year.
This upset BJP leader Pravin Darekar, who said More's words were disrespectful and hurt the dignity of the council.
The legislature secretariat sent More a notice asking for an explanation by December 2.
Darekar wants More to be punished for his remarks.
He also said that More's comments were unfair and that the Opposition is just trying to make excuses because they lost public support.
NCP (SP) leader Suryakant More received a notice for alleged objectionable remarks against Council Chairperson Ram Shinde.
BJP MLC Pravin Darekar demanded a motion for breach of privilege against More for his derogatory language.
