Anantapur MP and Collector Review District Development Projects

MP Ambika Lakshminarayana and Collector O Anand chaired a DISHA meeting at the Zilla Parishad office on Wednesday.
The meeting reviewed implementation of 108 Centrally Sponsored Schemes and local development priorities.
Officials reported that Rs. 12.54 crore was sanctioned for 154 works under MP local area development funds.
Drinking water security was prioritized amid severe El Niño conditions, with monitoring of Jal Jeevan Mission records and promotion of drought-resistant crops.
The committee ordered action regarding the Trellis School controversy and reviewed infrastructure problems at Rudrampeta Junction and Kallur ROB.
