MCNUJC Outdoor Newsroom Gives Journalism Students Hands-On Training

MCNUJC has created a newsroom that works outside the classroom.

It helps students practice real journalism.

Twenty-five students work there with guidance from two faculty members.

They take equipment to important events and report on them.

They also produce an eight-page newspaper called Vikalp every day.

Students give the newspaper to people at the events and ask for suggestions.

The university says this will help students prepare for jobs.

It has also sent students to cover elections in Bihar.

Students additionally run a community radio station and make a video magazine.
