Bhiwandi Police Seize ₹81.51 Lakh Banned Tobacco From Truck
Police found a truck carrying tobacco products that are banned.
The truck was stopped near Yewai Naka in Bhiwandi.
It was travelling from Indore toward Mumbai, according to police.
Officers found 27,540 packets of Rajnivas gutka and flavoured tobacco.
The tobacco was worth ₹81.51 lakh.
The truck made the total seized property worth about ₹1 crore.
The driver left the truck and ran away when officers questioned him.
Police are looking for him and trying to find everyone connected to the shipment.

The tobacco products were valued at ₹81.51 lakh, while the seized truck brought the total property value to about ₹1 crore.
The consignment included 27,540 Rajnivas gutka packets worth ₹55.08 lakh and Z-One flavoured tobacco worth ₹26.43 lakh.
Police said the truck was allegedly transporting the consignment from Indore toward Mumbai after receiving a tip-off.
The driver fled after police intercepted the truck, and investigators are searching for him and examining the wider supply chain.
